1. ORDERS For convenience, a purchase order blank can be provided. Please give order number, complete shipping and billing addresses, company name, and job title of person ordering. Order by part numbers whenever possible; supply serial numbers when ordering repair parts. 2. TERMS Cash with the order for new accounts; give bank name and account number and three credit references to establish open account credit. Freight charges will normally be collect for such orders. Letter of Credit: By Irrevocable, confirmed, transferable, clean Letter of Credit, in form and substance acceptable to us and our Swiss Bankers, payable in Switzerland at our bank's counter 30% cash with the order and 70% against shipping documents or forwarder's takeover certificate permitting part shipment and transhipments. All L/C charges for overseas and local banks are for opener's account. 3. PRICES-SPECIFICATIONS Refer to Price List to find prices by equipment model number. Additional price lists for repair parts are available on request. IMPORTANT: Minimum order charge for new equipment is Euro 1,000.00 (for smaller orders a minimum charge of Euro 50.00 applies), exclusive of transportation charges, necessary to offset the handling costs of small orders. Please consolidate orders or add to quantities to obtain full value. Minimum does not apply to repair parts orders. All illustrations, specifications and prices in this catalogue are based on the latest information available at time of publication. Price changes due to increased costs or limited supplies may be made at any time without notice. We reserve the right to change, improve, delete, and/or add models and to correct printing errors without notice. All prices are F.O.B. shipping point (usually Zurich - Switzerland) unless otherwise stated by specific written quotation. Shipping charges are billed based on invoices from carriers, and we reserve the right to bill additional shipping charges on a delayed basis when charges for same are billed to us by the carrier on a delayed or corrected basis. Billings are at prices prevailing at time of acceptance of orders. When old or erroneous prices are stated on an order, we may hold shipment pending acceptance of price corrections unless "or, at current published prices" is entered on the order. 4. DELIVERY SHIPPING. Unless otherwise instructed, shipment is made at the earliest possible time after receipt of order and payment. Most new equipment is available for shipments 30-90 days from receipt of order. Repair parts and most other small orders are normally shipped within a few days from receipt of order. When equipment is needed on a "rush" basis, please advise us; and we'll process the order in the fastest possible way. A special charge may be added for such rush deliveries. Whenever possible we ship by courier DHL, UPS or Datapost EMS etc. Larger shipments are shipped by air freight. We also use parcel post, air freight, and other means in special situations or where specifically requested by customers. In some such cases, delivery charges to terminals may be applicable in addition to charges of carrier. Unless specified in the order, we reserve the right to use methods of transportation which in our judgement will be most satisfactory to our customers' interests. We will make partial shipments where delays beyond our control may delay a portion of the order or where stock is maintained at different locations. 5. ADJUSTMENTS-RISKS A. Damage in
Transit
General: When shipments leave our plant, they are in good condition otherwise the carrier will not accept them. Damage in shipping is rare, but always check for evidence of damage or loss before signing for ANY shipment. Do NOT sign for ANY shipment with apparent damage until the carrier records damage on the receipt and signs same. Do not discard original packing materials until equipment has been fully examined in operation. Freight Shipments: Follow General instructions above. If damage to contents is evident, an examination and report by the transport agent MUST be requested. If damage is found after the carton is unpacked, have the transport agent come at once to inspect same and give you necessary forms for filing a concealed damage report. Concealed damage must be reported to and inspected by the carrier within seven days. B. Errors on Order Advanced Technical Services GmbH (ATS) makes every effort to assure that your order is shipped according to instructions. However, we realize that errors may occasionally occur - by ATS and by our customers. We are prepared to make adjustments promptly and equitably. Errors should be reported promptly as well. ATS will absorb all freight and restocking costs for exchange of equipment shipped by ATS's error. We reserve the right to charge 10% restocking charge for all returns of goods shipped as ordered, and all freight charges for such exchanges will be for account of buyer. Charges for damages because of improper repacking are customer's responsibility for all returns. Minimum restocking charge is Euro 100.00. C. Returns Do NOT return ANY equipment to ATS without prior permission. Call ATS and request a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. The RGA number must be shown on the shipping label of all return packages to assure acceptance by ATS. Failure to request proper damage inspection and/or file claims while equipment is in your possession can result in your loss. Save all original packing materials and consult ATS for advice on repacking. After authorization from ATS, return with freight prepaid; credit will be issued after receipt and inspection. No equipment is returnable after 30 days from shipping date. All returns are subject to charges for use or damage by customer or due to customers improper repacking as necessary to place equipment in resalable condition. D. Risks ATS is not responsible for conditions beyond our control such as but not limited to strikes, accidens, weather conditions, negligence of carriers, and other such causes. All risk for goods or damage claims thereto is the risk of purchaser once delivered to the carrier by ATS and receipt is obtained for same in good order. Customer is responsible for damages due to improper packing of returns. ATS will gladly give full cooperation and advice to help protect customers' best interests when advised of damages, errors or omissions. 6. GENERAL A. Special Products
Custom designs or adaptations are possible and quotations for same will be prepared on request. Such orders are accepted subject to future billing for costs incurred if order is subsequently canceled prior to shipment. Special Products are non-returnable. B. Technical
