The ATS Automatic Sample Preparation Station ___________________________________________________________________________

The ATS LabassistantΤ automates the sample preparation procedure, eliminating time consuming manual routine work that also can be the cause for errors. Moreover it can also perform unattended sample preparation thus increasing work output reliably.

The ATS LabassistantΤ is the combination of an intelligent autodilutor and an intelligent random access autosampler with a robotics program that is factory installed, but that leaves considerable freedom for the analysts own methodologies.

Fields of Application:

The ATS LabassistantΤ can be used in conjunction with any of the following analysis methods: GC, HPLC, AAS, AE-Flame Photometry (HPFP)Τ, ICP, VIS-UV-NIR, TOC, pH/I.S.E. as well as other similar applications.

Whilst the ATS LabassistantΤ combines the functions of the ATS Autodilutor and Autosampler and is thus an intelligent sample preparation station, the autosampler and autodilutor can each be used on their own, should the work of a laboratory require only one of the functions.

The ATS autodilutors and autosamplers are designed to simplify complex manual sample preparation procedures in the laboratory. They increase analytical quality and productivity, reduce the cost of analysis and enable laboratories to meet GLP protocols.

ATS/20096 Autodilutor

The Autodilutor uses a piston type micro-syringe dilutor for high precision volumetric dispensing and operates under a dedicated software control. It uses a standard syringe of 2.5 ml volume, though for specific user applications syringes with other volumes can be supplied. Since with the ATS Autodilutor only micro samples are required for analysis, it is an ideal complement to clinical analysers especially in pediatric and geriatric applications or similar science/industry applications.

ATS/20012 or ATS/20012C Autosamplers

The ATS autosamplers have easily interchangeable sample trays. Standard trays accept 37 vials (4 ml or 8 ml volume vials). Typical custom designed trays can also be supplied. A special feature is their intelligent routine; all movements are either factory pre-programmed in a sequential mode for clinical routine applications or when used with a PC Data Station, maximum flexibility is offered with the custom-made ATS MiniSoftWin® software package that allows all steps to be user defined in a random access mode as required for science and industry procedures.

The ATS/20012 Series Autosampler is the ideal partner to the ATS 200 Series High Performance Flame Photometers (HPFP)Τ: with its intelligent pre-set routine, it automatically presents the samples to be analysed by the analysers.

The automatic routine of the ATS/20012C clinical autosampler covers: collection of the sample, collection of the diluent, dispensing both and mixing them in the sample preparation fixed cup. After the analysis two complete automatic rinse and drain cycles give the highest assurance of eliminating cross contamination. The routine can be interrupted so as to analyse a STAT sample (non routine quick analysis) without interfering with the set routine. Intermittent collection of standards or analytical controls can be programmed.
